I was meditating (taking a time out) for a few minutes this last week and a picture of the Three Wise Monkeys popped into my head. I can't draw. It is not in my skill set. I don't even know where to begin.
I have always wanted to see how the community of artists online for hire works, so I went to Upwork.com
I posted an ad for an artist to draw the three Wise Monkeys for me and provided my specifications and a few pictures I gathered from the net.
I got a few responses and settled on Ariel Ruiz. Over the next several days we worked together to develop this image and one more that will be on a different mug.

This was a fun project to do and it turned out far better than I could have expected thanks to Ariel.
The design is imprinted in the surface of the mug and is both dishwasher and microwave safe.
